Welcome to the Well-Architected Tool lesson. You know the six pillars, but how do you actually apply them to the servers you have running right now?
Evaluating a complex cloud architecture takes time. AWS built a free auditing tool in the console that guides you through the process step-by-step, ensuring you don't miss critical security or cost-saving measures.
In this tutorial, you will learn:
The AWS Well-Architected Tool helps you review the state of your workloads and compares them to the latest AWS architectural best practices.
It is essentially an interactive questionnaire. You answer a series of questions about your architecture (e.g., "How do you securely manage AWS credentials?"). Based on your answers, the tool evaluates your workload against the 6 Pillars.
It then provides a detailed Improvement Plan with step-by-step guidance on how to fix high-risk issues (like unencrypted databases or lack of automated backups).
Which service provides an interactive questionnaire to evaluate your architectures and provides a step-by-step improvement plan?
