Introduction to JSX

JSX stands for JavaScript XML. It is a powerful syntax extension for JavaScript that allows you to write HTML structures directly within your React code.

Writing JSX vs Plain React

Without JSX, creating elements in React involves using the React.createElement() function, which can become tedious, deeply nested, and difficult to read.

With JSX:

const myElement = <h1>I Love JSX!</h1>;

Without JSX:

const myElement = React.createElement('h1', {}, 'I do not use JSX!');

As you can see, JSX allows us to write familiar HTML elements in JavaScript and place them in the DOM efficiently.
